Thinking outside the box is to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. This phrase often refers to novel, creative and smart thinking. We saw this take place this past week in one of our weekly update stories that dealt with hand washing. Jefferson University Hospital did just that they went outside of the box with a way to increase awareness within their facility when it came to hand washing.A quote from the story posted "Getting to good results often involves taking creative paths. Our latest effort to boost our hand washing - Jefferson's 'Wash 'Em' video - is a great example." If you have not viewed it take a few minutes and check it out. We all have to wash our hands but there are times when we have to protect them with gloves. One thing that our customers have been asking for is a glove that is longer and offers greater protection when they work in the decontamination area. Most gloves are 12 inches long and 6 mil thick. We now offer a powder-free 16 inch long non-sterile nitrile 7 mil thick glove for the decontamination area. We started to "think outside the box" when it came to a decontamination glove and feel we have a glove that meets the needs of those working in the decontamination area.
