HEALTHMARK’S HELPING HANDS – ISSUE NO. 459

As March came in "like a lion" in Michigan, thousands of homeless were left in the cold lacking basic belongings like a blanket to stay warm. The staff at Healthmark Industries generously collected dozens of blankets to support the World Medical Relief based in Detroit. Established in 1953, the World Medical Relief is a non-profit charitable organization who helps locally, nationally and internationally by collecting and distributing goods to those in need. One local program is the Blanket Relief Program. This winter alone, the WMR expects to distribute over 10,000 blankets. Our Healthmark family was happy to play a part in this success, helping those less fortunate.
