Loaners Are Going To Be Around For a Long Time : This past week I posted a story about how orthopedic procedures dealing with implants are growing and continue to grow. That can only mean there will be a rise in loaner trays, along with more new procedures, thus more new instruments. This means that CPD/SPD/MDRD (the departments that will reprocess these trays) will have to make sure staff are properly trained and those trays are properly identified.
