THE POWER OF AND – ISSUE NO. 468

Life is something we need to embrace each day. We never know what is around the corner. As we all go through life, we meet people who inspire us. About 2 years ago, Healthmark hired a new team member in Arizona, Michael Maske. I was able to spend a few days with him and during that time, I learned he wrote a book called "Voice of the Nurse." The book is excellent. It gave me insight into Michael as a person. It is a book I give out and have shared with many of my nursing friends. Michael has also reminded me that we need to have balance in our life with work and home. More importantly, we all have so much going on, and events take place, and we should face those events in a way that has a positive outcome, not only for ourselves, but for others. Like Michael, we do what we have to do, and sometimes, without even knowing it, we become an example for others on how to live and enjoy life with no excuses. At IAHCSMM, I again had the pleasure to meet and talk with Mike and his daughter Zoey. Zoey is just bundle of joy to be around. Mike recently received a well-deserved award and I want to share it with you. Click here to view a powerful video about the award, Mike and his daughter. Which simply means, I can be a GREAT father, AND I can be GREAT in this business." Mike, you inspire me to be a better person. Thank you for that my friend.
