Vented Instrument Guards are designed to enhance sterilization and protection for instruments during the sterilization procedure. Designed for steam sterilization, the flow-through vents allow full-impact sterilization yet they protect tips and edges from breaking and chipping. Vented Instrument Guards are also radiopaque (visible under x-ray).

Equivalent in brush dimensions (diameter, brush part length) to the Olympus’ MAJ-1888 for cleaning endoscope elevator mechanism wires; our uniquely designed small-scale brush head is comprised of polyamide brush filaments attached to a plastic-coated wire core for efficient scrubbing of endoscope elevator wires.

These tip protectors feature the unique “channel” design that prevents moisture from being trapped between the protector and the instrument. They are also vented - insuring that moisture quickly evaporates during the sterilization cycle. The see-through design means tips are easily visible. The channeled protectors will not stick to instruments. These tips protectors are compatible with steam and EtO sterilization.
